Crunchy Tahini Toast

This quick and easy breakfast or snack is one of my absolute favourites! Since I’ve been traveling so much lately, I especially appreciate something that can be made in any kitchen with such simple ingredients. And it tastes absolutely decadent! Making this completely satisfies my cravings for creamy, crunchy and sweet. I think it’s so important to listen to what my body needs – if you’re feeling it too, you’ll love this delicious combo.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices gluten-free bread of choice
  • 2 Tbsp. tahini
  • 1 banana
  • 1 Tbsp. gluten-free granola or mixed nuts/seeds

 

Method

  1. Toast bread, then spread with tahini. Top with sliced banana and sprinkle on toppings of choice. The possibiliites are endless! Try coconut flakes and chia seeds, too. Yum!
